Yeah, it’s all smiles for Don Cheadle! He’s got “Crash” on Starz!, which he co-executive produces, and now his B-Ball drama, “March to Madness”, has been picked up by FX. According to Variety:
“March” will revolve around a corrupt college basketball program that cheats its way to the “March Madness” NCAA basketball tournament. Project will be told through the eyes of the college coach, whose idealistic approach to the job has slowly been eroded by the compromises he’s forced to make.
Former sports journalist, Joel Silverman, is the writer behind the project and Pete Segal is set to direct. I’ll tell ya’, America just can’t get enough death, crime, drama, corruption, scandal, et cetera, et cetera on T.V.!! Wouldn’t it be nice to sit down on a Thursday evening and watch a show about a regular, fun-loving family who live an ordinary life in the suburbs with no major issues, where the kids go to school and don’t ditch, have sex or do drugs, dad is a cop but doesn’t ever have to kill anybody and is faithful to his wife and mom is a nurse but never has to see anybody die, tragically, and won’t wind up fucking the doctor she works for? Eh, on second thought……”March to Madness”, huh?

Regretful Morning

Hahahaha. Only in America. As for the film, Cheadle is pretty much the man, so if he’s doing it, 99% of the time, I am watching. Good stuff.
